What is on the plan
- The PCs and the Macs people sit at
- The Windows server or the Linux server, and the shares, when the office has one
- The printer server, when the queue for the office lives on it
- The network printers, when the queue or the scan breaks
- Patching, antivirus, EDR on the machines, and ITDR on the logins
- For a clinic, the day-to-day watch on who can still open the charts and the mail
- Remote help Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST, and on call Saturday and Sunday
- Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace users and mail, when that is how the office works
What is not folded in
Backup is separate. A project with a finish line, such as a new server or a VLAN redesign, is scoped on its own. The care plan is the steady work. The other two are chosen when you need them.
Ala carte is the lighter version: the agent and the patches, and you call when you want a person. Hourly help is no plan at all. The three ways are on the how-we-work page.
